PRE-LAUNCH PRESS RELEASE - After successful stints as a human resource professional in London and the US, Sonia and her husband decided to return home to Australia to begin their family. Formerly a busy professional and now stay-at-home mother, Sonia Blacker has found the perfect work-life balance and turned book publisher with the release of ‘Look Who’s Eating Now’, her wonderful collection of recipes for babies and toddlers. Facing the challenge of feeding her new baby daughter, Sonia began creating many new recipes and trying out old family favourites to tempt her young daughter Holly. She quickly realised that many other parents were in the same boat– busy, caring parents who wanted to tempt their babies and toddlers with food that was healthy, tasty and simple to prepare - yet finding the question of just what to prepare a real challenge! So she wrote down her recipes, took lots of photos and pulled together her team; a dietitian, book designer, editor, and IT&T professional husband Bryce to help her share her collection of nutritious, quick and easy to prepare recipes with other parents. The result, ‘Look Who’s Eating Now’ is a beautiful, picture-filled, colourful book with an amazing range of delicious recipes. The layout is simple with food-age guide, allergy-analysis, preparation time and useful tips. The Foreword, written by dietitian Samantha Berry, sets out the facts about introducing solids.
